Employment Law Changes 2026 – What You Need to Know, Now!
Half-Day Seminar – Gloucester Rugby Club – Wednesday 14th January 2026 at 9am
The Employment Rights Bill is the biggest change in Employment Law for a generation. We unpack this for you and will tell you what to expect and what you absolutely must do to prepare.
The clock is ticking for employers to prepare. The first major change is already in place – 3rd party harassment, and further changes will come into effect in April 2026 which is now only 5 months away. These changes will be covered in depth that HR Professionals and Business Owners must deal with.
April 2026 changes:
New rules on parental and paternity leave
Sexual harassment to be included in whistleblowing protections
Collective redundancy changes
The role of the new Fair Work Agency
Changes to Statutory Sick Pay (SSP)
Extended trade union recognition rights
October 2026 changes:
TUPE changes
Rules on allocation of tips
Trade union rights to be included in contracts
Regulation of dismissal and re-engagement (‘fire’ and ‘rehire’)
Of course we will cover the forthcoming changes to:
Unfair dismissal
Flexible hours contracts
Agency workers
